All I have to say is close your eyes and think about how messed up the image of players like Michael Jordan, Reggie Miller, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and even Charles Barkley would be if twitter was around back in their day…and they actually tweeted.
Who am I kidding? I definitely have more to say. I mean, is taking yourself too seriously the new black nowadays?
Chris Webber is a professional analyst, which means it’s his job to analyze how Kendrick Perkins is doing his job. If he’s not his biggest cheerleader, that doesn’t mean that he’s a hater, it just means he thinks he can improve on a few things.
Besides, I have a whole heck of a lot to say about a ton, and I am farther away from a NBA championship than C. Webb ever was.
I think Kendrick is a solid big man- he plays hard and leaves it all on the floor. But this is just stupid. If he felt so “disrespected” maybe he should have used his twitter account to challenge C. Webb to a good old fashioned game of one on one. That would have been fun, entertaining and actually interesting to see unfold. They could have settled it right on NBA TV, TNT or wherever.
Someone snatch Perkins’ phone immediately because this isn’t cool, it just demonstrates his lack of levelheadedness. He should remember the kids with his posters plastered on their walls.
(Also should play better one-on-one D. haha)
